Increased Production Capabilities at Nitecrest

As part of its mission to continue to push boundaries in product innovation and associated technology, Nitecrest have further enhanced production capabilities with the installation of two new plastic card production machines.

The Lancashire based card manufacturer, already recognised as the largest capacity card manufacturer in Europe, have increased capacity for speciality shaped cards; M6 and Key Tags. Nitecrest will now produce double the number of the bespoke shaped plastic cards on a daily basis, at the 120,000 sq. ft. UK manufacturing plant.

The M6 card integrates a standard plastic card with a hanging piece allowing for POS display commonly seen in supermarkets and shopping malls. Popular amongst retailers the extended print area allows for maximum brand exposure and conventional shop display options.

Key tags are a popular option for businesses to extend customer loyalty with many leading retailers opting for personalisation features like RFID. Manufactured to the same ISO standard as a credit card the key tags are produced using a sub-lamination process resulting in market leading durability.

"This is a really exciting time for Nitecrest, we are heading into 2018 with a huge increase in capacity for our speciality shaped cards and offering clients unrivalled lead times"
