"Thanks to a great effort from the team in Wigan in preparing the required dossier, we passed the audit with flying colours, receiving zero non-conformances at our first attempt."

For a company involved in environmental purification, in particular the reactivation and recycling of spent activated carbon filtration media, it was important for CPL Carbon Link to have its environmental management system validated and accredited by an approved certification organisation, in this case Bureau Veritas.
Commenting on the award, CPL Carbon Link’s Divisional Director Steve Bell said, “Thanks to a great effort from the team in Wigan in preparing the required dossier and supporting documentation, we passed the audit with flying colours, receiving zero non-conformances at our first attempt. As the business moves into the next phase of its development strategy, it was vital that we achieved this accreditation, which sits alongside our existing and recently-upgraded ISO9001:2015 quality certificate.”
From its base in Greater Manchester, where it was shortlisted for this year’s Wigan Business Awards, CPL Carbon Link operates via a network of logistics, warehousing and carbon processing partners throughout the UK. It also reactivates spent activated carbon at the company’s facility in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire. The company’s products and services are used in a wide range of industries and purification applications, including water treatment, renewable energy (biogas), air purification and the food industry.
